Story Description :

Sometimes married life doesn’t turn out the way we imagined it would. But before making any decisions that we might regret later, perhaps husbands and wives should take a moment to look back at the little reminders we have for each other.

Sometimes married life doesn’t turn out the way we imagined it would. But before making any decisions that we might regret later, perhaps husbands and wives should take a moment to look back at the little reminders we have for each other.

— What a Wife Wants Her Husband to Remember —

If you’re going to call yourself a man, don’t save all your sweetness for other women. Remember, your wife is also a woman in the eyes of other men.

So don’t let other men take away the right to cherish and spoil your wife. Because one day, you might lose more than that right—you might lose your wife, too.

Don’t think that throwing a wedding, signing your name on a marriage certificate, and putting a ring on your wife’s finger means you can safely lock her into your life forever.

Your wife has legs to walk away, arms to hold someone else, and a heart capable of loving another man if all you ever see her as is a bowl to eat from, a blanket to sleep under, and a machine for having children.

Just because you’ve grown tired of your wife doesn’t mean she still loves you.

Romantic feelings are one of the hardest things in the world to maintain.

That’s why, if the two of you don’t work together, make an effort together, and choose together to keep laughter and warmth alive in your home, you may only have a few years before there’s nothing left between you.

Don’t think you’re the only one entitled to sit around on the sidewalk drinking with your friends, or the only one allowed to stay out until the middle of the night.

And don’t assume that only men deserve to have fun and unwind.

Life puts pressure on both of us, doesn’t it?

Respecting your wife’s freedom is also a way of loosening the grip she has on you.

— What a Husband Wants His Wife to Remember —

You didn’t marry me so I could become your personal servant.

If there’s something you can do yourself, then do it. If I see that you’re tired or struggling, I’ll help you because I love you—not because it’s automatically my job.

If your husband comes home drunk after a night out, don’t start yelling at him.

He won’t hear a word you say, let alone understand it.

Just let him sleep it off. Once he’s sober and clear-headed, we can sit down and talk things through.

And please, stop calling your husband every five or ten minutes while he’s out joking around and having a few drinks with the guys.

Give him a chance to win his little battle of bragging rights first. Once he comes home, you can do whatever you want with him.

If your husband comes home late because he’s been meeting with a business partner, don’t stick your nose against him and start sniffing.

Sometimes when people shake hands, put an arm around each other’s shoulders, or hug goodbye, a little perfume can rub off. It doesn’t mean anything.

And take your hand off my phone right now!

Do you really think I’m stupid enough to leave sensitive messages lying around for you to discover?

And if there are any, they’re probably just harmless jokes and nothing worth making a fuss over.

Just keep cooking good food.

Your husband will come home to eat sooner or later.

Nobody can eat out forever. No matter how luxurious, exotic, or delicious the food outside may be, nothing will ever taste quite like a home-cooked meal made by his wife.
